Strategic Water Management LLC (“SWM”) identifies, screens, acquires, finances, manages or arranges for management of the development and marketing of water rights or water supplies and related infrastructure primarily to meet existing and growing municipal and industrial water demands throughout North America.  Depending on the requirements of a project, SWM’s project consortium will include design, construction, and operating firms of infrastructure and investment banks or infrastructure funds for project financing.  Our management is experienced in all aspects of water projects, including legal, political, financial, economic, and strategic management.  Our approach is to assemble an experienced team of professionals and local individuals to enhance the prospect that a project will result in a successful outcome, combining capital resources and technical expertise.

SWM’s capital partners in its projects have long time horizons and tolerance for project risks commensurate with investment returns, involving all dimensions of water projects: technical, environmental, political, legal, economic, and financial.  Project entities are governed by boards whose members include knowledgeable and experienced individuals in the water industry as well as representatives of significant capital partners.  This governance structure assures that projects are developed and implemented in a professional manner with timely communication and voice from capital partners.
