Water Strategist (WS) is a proprietary database of information from the past 23 years encompassing data on water marketing and water policy issues involving the 17 western states, federal agencies, corporate analysis, Indian water resources, and environmental and water quality concerns.

WS was created by Stratecon, Inc.’s team of natural resource economists, policy experts, and researchers for use in the analysis of water markets and key water policy issues that affect the allocation of water resources and the market value of water rights.

From 1987 to 2010 the WS data was provided through a published journal available for purchase. That journal is no longer available.

As of January 2011, Stratecon, Inc. provides customized research that incorporates the proprietary database of information to assist anyone needing analysis of water markets or key water policy issues.
