Lisa Hahn is President of Stratecon, Inc., a strategic planning and economics consulting firm specializing in the economics, law, and finance of water resources. Stratecon, Inc. also publishes Water Strategist, monthly analysis of water marketing, finance, legislation, litigation, and corporate actions in water industry. Ms. Hahn is the publisher of this monthly journal and has primary responsibility for the research, screening of water policy actions in the seventeen western states, and management of the publication. For fourteen years, she has interviewed policy-makers in the western states as well as key federal agencies on issues concerning developments in federal, state, and local water policy.

Ms. Hahn also consults in the natural resources field, conducting specialized research on behalf of clients needing a comprehensive background on the policy, and regulatory environment that affects their projects. She has also organized and conducted water briefings and seminars, including two years of the Water Marketing Conference at the University of Denver School of Law. 

Prior to founding Stratecon, Inc., Ms. Hahn was Director of Marketing for Carnow, Conibear, and Associates, an environmental consulting firm based in Chicago, a manager for Arthur Young and Associates, and a project manager at the Rand Corporation in Santa Monica, California.

She holds a Masters of Public Health from California State University at Northridge, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at San Diego.
