Water Strategist is the premiere source for in-depth analysis of water policy. We publish articles on the economics, law, finance, and policy of water resources in the Colorado River Basin, Texas, and the Pacific Northwest on an ongoing basis. Expect to see new content every week.

For 20 years WS guided decision makers on the significance of water marketing, economics, finance, legislation, litigation, and policy for the allocation of water resources in the west. As technology advanced, it became increasingly difficult to protect our intellectual property online—so in 2010, Stratecon made the strategic decision to stop publishing WS and offer its expertise solely through its advisory and proprietary research services.

Now, with the lessons learned during a 15-year hiatus, Water Strategist is back!

Free Subscribers—Because Water Strategist is the revival of our previous paid-subscription-based journal, content for free subscribers is limited. You will have access to a roundup post highlighting everything we published that quarter and occasional overviews of forthcoming articles. For great free content, consider subscribing to our other publication, Hydrowonk Blog.
